Because its not "fitted" it happily accepts my D-Lux four, which is a wee bit greater than the D-Lux three, with enough room to tuck in a wrist strap and somewhat pocket for an SD card or two. Inner lining is super-soft and plushy; outside is hardy cordura. Good high quality plastic clasp and heavy accountability, wide (over an inch) shoulder strap, which can additionally be eliminated should you like. All-in-all a perfect alternative to the $150 fitted leather circumstances for the D-Lux four for roughly one-third the price.
